Job summary

Mister P Express Inc in Indiana is seeking a Payroll & Receivables Specialist responsible for driver payroll settlements in McLeod software, plus accurate data entry and payroll audits.

You will maintain organized records, post daily deposits, manage accounts receivable calls to secure payments, and back up payable processing. Strong confidentiality and Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2 years accounting experience preferred.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proficient Excel skills and basic office software.

Responsibilities

• Process Driver Payroll Settlements in McLeod software.
• Enter and maintain payroll data in Excel and software.
• Review payroll for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Engage and answer payroll questions.
• Maintain organized records and documentation.
• Create daily bank deposits and posting of funds daily.
• Accounts receivable: make calls and ensure timely payments.
• Back-up accounts payable processing when needed.

Primary Role and Responsibilities will include Payroll & Receivables

• Driver Payroll Settlement processing in McLeod trucking software
• Enter & maintain payroll data in Excel & in software.
• Review & Audit payroll for accuracy and Discrepancies
• Engage & answer questions regarding payroll
• Maintain Organized records & Documentation
• Create daily bank deposits and posting of funds daily
• Accounts Receivables, making calls and ensuring timely payment from customers

Back-up Accounts Payable

• Support & Back up Payable processing
• Enter invoices & maintain Accurate vendor records
• Assist with Invoice matching, payment processing & reconciliations
• Provide coverage for Accounts payable responsibilities when needed

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• 2 years’ Accounting Experience
• Strong Attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Basic Office experience, particularly Excel.
• Strong communication skills
