Job summary

Mister “P” Express in the United States seeks a detail-oriented Payroll & AR Specialist to manage driver payroll, receivables, and related accounting tasks. You will process payroll in McLeod software, maintain data in Excel, and ensure accuracy daily.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2 years accounting experience, and confidentiality. Training on payables backup and vendor reconciliations will be provided as part of coverage for the finance team.

Qualifications

• 2 years of accounting experience or more.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data.
• Basic office skills with Excel proficiency.
• Experience with payroll or AR systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process driver payroll and receivables using McLeod software.
• Enter and maintain payroll data in Excel and in the system.
• Review payroll for accuracy and discrepancies.
• Create daily bank deposits and post funds.
• Handle accounts receivable calls and timely customer payments.

Job Description

Primary Role and Responsibilities will include Payroll & Receivables

• Driver Payroll Settlement processing in McLeod trucking software
• Enter & maintain payroll data in Excel & in software.
• Review & Audit payroll for accuracy and Discrepancies
• Create daily bank deposits and posting of funds daily
• Accounts Receivables, making calls and ensuring timely payment from customers

Back-up Accounts Payable

• Support & Back up Payable processing
• Assist with Invoice matching, payment processing & reconciliations
• Provide coverage for Accounts payable responsibilities when needed

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• 2 years’ Accounting Experience
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Basic Office experience, particularly Excel.
