Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking a Payroll Analyst to support payroll processing, interface with HR teams, and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role involves processing payroll inputs, off-cycle and production payrolls, and assisting with tax and government reporting. The ideal candidate brings 4+ years of payroll experience and a strong eye for detail, confidentiality, and timelines in a hospital environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 4+ years payroll experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/business preferred with 2+ years payroll experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with payroll processing for exempt and non-exempt staff (off-cycle and production).
• Assist with payroll inputs and uploads into Workday.
• Research and resolve payroll issues with analytical approach.
• Maintain payroll practices and procedures.
• Assist with payroll taxes and government reporting (quarterly, year-end, W-2).
• Handle child support, garnishments, and tax levies.
