General Summary: The Payroll Analyst supports the processing of Lurie Children’s payroll, interfacing with various teams within the Human Resources department, and ensures compliance with regulations while coordinating diverse work processes.
High school diploma or GED with 4 or more years of relevant payroll experience is required; a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field with 2 or more years of relevant payroll experience is preferred. Knowledge of IRS tax rules and regulations a plus. Strong organization skills. Ability to demonstrate a strong commitment to customer relationships by taking ownership of issues and ensuring effective outcomes. Time management skills are required to manage multiple, concurrent tasks, meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality. Monitor and adhere to all organizational policies that impact pay. Ability to maintain confidentiality while working with sensitive data.

The pay range for this job indicates minimum and maximum targets for the position. Ranges are regularly reviewed to stay aligned with market conditions.
