Job summary

Trace3 is seeking a Payroll Analyst to support full-cycle payroll processing, reporting, and compliance across Trace3 and affiliated entities. You will back up commissions administration and help scale payroll operations during growth and acquisitions.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience, UKG UltiPro proficiency, advanced Excel, and experience with BI/reporting tools. Remote or in-person work options are available.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of payroll experience.
• Understanding of Payroll business processes, and commissions.
• Experience with UKG (UltiPro) payroll software.
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros, Power Query, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS).
• Experience with payroll integrations, data mapping, and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Must be detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Process full-cycle payroll for exempt employees, corrections, commissions, bonuses, and final paychecks.
• Reconcile payroll records for each pay period and resolve discrepancies.
• Respond to employee and management inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, taxes, and verifications.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and audit employee data for wage and tax compliance.
• Prepare and distribute payroll reports weekly, monthly, and year-to-date.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, and other departments to ensure data accuracy.
