Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent with relevant major or experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years' clerical experience.
• Knowledge of computing technology and payroll software.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to interact professionally with public and internal/external customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in district-wide payroll processing in line with contracts and policies.
• Prepare maintenance changes to employee deductions.
• Answer payroll inquiries and support day-to-day operations of the department.
• Audit payroll data including hours, insurance, and leaves.
• Coordinate direct deposit and deduction payments.
• Assist in training and supervision of payroll staff.
• Coordinate with Human Resources to ensure correct payments and coding.
• Attend payroll-related workshops and trainings as needed.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
