• Process standard and non-standard payroll runs for assigned populations.
• Perform payroll reconciliations and audits before/after each pay cycle.
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records and coordinate changes with HR and Benefits.
• Respond to moderately complex inquiries on pay, taxes, and deductions.
• Support quarterly and year-end payroll compliance activities including tax filings and W-2 preparation.
• Identify and document improvements to payroll workflows and controls.

Responsibilities

• Process standard and non-standard payroll runs for assigned employee populations, managing timekeeping, deductions, garnishments, and off-cycle payments independently.
• Perform payroll reconciliations and audits prior to and after each pay cycle, identifying and resolving discrepancies with general supervision.
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records and coordinate changes with HR and Benefits on new hires, terminations, and compensation adjustments.
• Respond to moderately complex employee inquiries on pay, taxes, and deductions, providing accurate and timely resolution.
• Support quarterly and year-end payroll compliance activities including tax filings and W-2 preparation.
• Assist in identifying and documenting process improvements to payroll workflows and controls.
