Job summary

The Home Depot seeks a Payroll Analyst to manage the end-to-end payroll processing for associates across the U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, and Guam. You will ensure timely, accurate payroll delivery and related reporting.

You will administer a high-volume weekly payroll, analyze data, resolve issues with IT/vendors, and build auditing tools to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local rules. SOX participation is also required.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience in payroll, especially multi-state, with high volume.
• CPP certification preferred but not required.
• Experience handling gross-to-net calculations and payroll regulations.

Responsibilities

• Administer a high-volume weekly payroll process.
• Collect, analyze, update, and reconcile payroll and benefit data weekly.
• Serve as liaison between users, vendors, and IT to resolve issues.
• Create and implement auditing tools to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local rules and to prevent erroneous payments.
• Contribute to SOX audit compliance.
• Review error logs and transactions to ensure the system runs correctly.
