Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Payroll Analyst to manage end-to-end payroll processing for U.S. associates and support Canada and other regions as needed. The role focuses on accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

You will administer high-volume weekly payroll, reconcile data, liaise with vendors and IT, and contribute to SOX controls while pursuing continuous improvement in auditing tools and processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field
• Extensive experience in gross-to-net payroll, state and federal pay rule calculations, and payroll regulations
• CPP is preferred

Responsibilities

• Administer a high-volume weekly payroll process using a computer-based system
• Collect, analyze, update, and reconcile payroll and benefit data weekly
• Serve as liaison between users, vendors, and IT to research and resolve issues
• Create and implement auditing tools to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local authorities, and to eliminate erroneous payments
• Contribute to SOX audit compliance
• Frequently review error logs and transactions to ensure the system is running as required
