Job summary

Qualifications

• Some college required; bachelor’s degree preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Payroll experience in Paycom Payroll Solutions LLC plus knowledge of Sage 100 or Quadient APA systems preferred
• General accounting knowledge, with accounts payable experience preferred
• Must possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, commitment to high quality work, ability to multitask and be able to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills required
• Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Check for vendor invoices, payment requests, and answer any urgent emails. Review any payment deadlines or approvals that need attention.
• Verify invoice details including: division, vendor, posting month, and amounts. Enter approved invoices into APA accounting system.
• Call vendors and customers for W9 and ACH information verification
• Communicate with Human Resources about any payroll changes, such as employee terminations, pay changes, benefits and deductions and year-end activities.
