The role involves reconciling payroll data, responding to inquiries, assisting with audits and 401(k) reporting, and driving system improvements across the payroll function.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll experience preferred.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now and payroll reconciliations.
• Familiarity with 401(k) reporting and audits.
• Ability to improve processes and support month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Process semi-monthly payroll using ADP Workforce Now.
• Reconcile payroll master file and track employee reimbursements (Navan).
• Manage onboarding/offboarding payroll data and respond to employee inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and assist with audits and 401(k) reporting.
• Maintain accurate digital records and coordinate with external providers (e.g., ADP).
• Record payroll-related journal entries and support month-end close activities.
• Monitor grant allocations and assist with grant reporting.
• Identify process improvements and assist with system optimization (NetSuite, ADP).
• Prepare periodic reconciliations and ad-hoc payroll/finance reports.
