Job summary

W-Industries of Texas, LLC is seeking a Payroll Accountant to support payroll accounting and reconciliation tasks. The role focuses on posting journal entries, ensuring accuracy across payroll-related accounts and coordinating with Payroll, Accounting, and operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, experience with payroll systems, and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines while maintaining confidential information.

Qualifications

• Must have solid knowledge of accounting and journal entries within payroll and reconciliations.
• Must maintain accurate supporting documentation and close coordination with Payroll and Accounting teams.
• Experience with payroll-related accounting, job costing, or multi-entity accounting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post payroll-related journal entries from HRIS data.
• Reconcil other payroll-related accounts and bank activity.
• Coordinate information between Payroll, Accounting, Accounts Payable and operations.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Support audits and reporting requests with payroll data.
