Job summary

Atrium Staffing LLC is seeking a Payroll Accountant to support payroll and accounting operations in a fast-paced environment. You will ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting with a focus on month-end close, accruals, and multi-state payroll processing.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of payroll and accounting experience and a strong proficiency in Excel. Experience with ADP is preferred. This role is based in New Jersey and offers competitive hourly pay.

Our client is a long-standing New Jersey higher education organization that is looking to add a Payroll Accountant to their team. The organization is seeking an experienced professional who can work effectively both independently and collaboratively. A strong background in general accounting and full-cycle payroll processing is required.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$28/hr - $31/hr

Position Overview:

The Payroll Accountant will support payroll and accounting operations while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting. Applicants must have strong attention to detail and analytical skills. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience with month-end close, accruals, fixed assets, and payroll processing using Oracle.
