The role focuses on reimbursement strategies, contract optimization, and value-based care initiatives across a growing retina practice management network.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in contracting and payor portfolio management within healthcare, with strong analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration; Master's preferred.
• 5+ years contracting, negotiations, and health plan portfolio management experience.
• Deep healthcare knowledge of payer-provider dynamics and analytics-enabled incentives.
• Experience in a high-growth, fast-paced environment; private equity/start-up experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess market trends to identify opportunities and craft competitive rate pitches.
• Review health plan agreements and fee schedules for integration strategies.
• Represent Retina Consultants of America in national managed care negotiations.
• Maintain the contract management platform with all agreements and schedules.
• Work with FP&A to validate financial impact of new contracts and budgets.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to monitor market trends and improve underperforming contracts.
• Prepare reporting and analytics to support recommendations.
