Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years of relevant experience in insurance verification, medical billing, paralegal, project management, or contract administration.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret publications; write internal/external business correspondence; present information clearly.
  • Ability to perform basic math, forecast probabilities within workflows, and apply intermediate math skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and learning new applications as needed.
  • Knowledge of call center telecommunications software is favorable.

Responsibilities

  • Renew credentials and maintain payor participation data.
  • Submit and review network forms, contracts, and related documents.
  • Review payor contracts for terms and performance.
  • Prepare and analyze financial data from contracts.
  • Generate and distribute payor-related reports and communications.
  • Coordinate with payor relations stakeholders and internal teams.
