Job summary

Viemed, LLC is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to manage credentialing, payer enrollment, and related contracts. You will process documents, monitor deadlines, and keep internal records updated while coordinating with payers on status changes.

The role requires 2+ years in healthcare credentialing or payer enrollment, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office; Salesforce is a plus. Normal business hours, on-site in Lafayette, LA.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Healthcare Credentialing and/or Payer Enrollment experience.
• College Degree in related field preferred, but not required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Fill out and process credentialing, contract, revalidation, and other payer documents for in-networking, renegotiations and routine upkeep.
• Assist with processing LOIs, applications, contracts, and credentialing for new payers/health plans.
• Track credentialing and recredentialing deadlines.
• Monitor and track submissions and status changes with payers and update internal records.
• Communicate updates to existing payers.
• Ensure all documents for signature, including credentials, amendments, and all material correspondence are escalated timely.
• File all returned and contract from the payers/plans.
• Support executive leadership amendments and colleagues with special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office products, Salesforce is a plus.
• Ability to focus for extended periods of time.
