Job summary

BD in the United States is seeking a Payor Relations Specialist to manage contracting, licensure, credentialing and policy research workflows, ensuring accurate submissions and on‑time deliverables.

You will monitor shared inboxes, assign work, track progress, verify documents, and coordinate seamless handoffs across contracting, credentialing, licensing and policy functions. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast‑paced regulatory environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 4–6 years in healthcare payor relations or related admin work.
• Experience in contracting, credentialing, licensing, or revenue cycle is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor shared inboxes, queues, and payor admin requests to log and prioritize work.
• Assign and distribute work to team based on type, regulatory urgency, deadlines, and capacity.
• Track progress and ensure SLAs and due dates are met.
• Review outputs for accuracy before submission.
• Validate documentation and evidence before external submission or internal distribution.
• Coordinate workflow handoffs between contracting, credentialing, licensing, payor policy research, and portal administration.
