Job summary

WEX Inc. seeks a qualified professional to manage the OTR Certification & Technical Testing Lifecycle, guiding certifications from initiation to production release for merchant and POS vendor portfolios.

You will craft and update technical test scripts weekly, troubleshoot issues daily, and optimize lab configurations and connectivity with AI-assisted tools. You will also perform daily SQL validations against live logs, issue formal certification letters, and support 30-day post-launch

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of progressive experience in payment processing, IT systems support, network interface testing, or technical QA.
• Proven ability to understand, interpret, and apply technical interface specifications (API/Network Interface Testing).
• Demonstrated SQL skills to extract data, verify transaction outputs, and analyze system logs.
• Hands-on experience creating, executing, and troubleshooting technical test scripts and validation files.
• Strong track record of managing external client and cross-functional stakeholder relationships.
• Must pass a background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and guide the 90-to 180-day certification lifecycle for assigned merchant and POS vendor portfolios.
• Create, tailor, and maintain technical test scripts weekly based on customer hardware/software profiles.
• Troubleshoot authorization or script execution errors daily.
• Configure test environments daily using the eManager Portal.
• Collaborate with client engineering teams to establish secure network connectivity.
• Lead weekly kickoff meetings and project updates as the technical point of contact.
