Job summary

WEX Inc. seeks a Certification & Testing specialist to manage the 90–180 day lifecycle for merchant and POS vendor portfolios, guiding from Initiation through Lab/Beta Testing to final Production Release.

You will create and maintain technical test scripts weekly, perform SQL data validation, and configure lab environments via the eManager Portal. Collaborate with client engineers to establish secure connectivity and leverage AI-assisted optimization to streamline testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in payment processing, IT systems support, network interface testing or technical QA.
• Knowledge of technical interface specifications (API/Network Interface Testing).
• Intermediate to advanced SQL skills to extract data, verify outputs, and analyze system logs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the 90–180 day certification lifecycle from Initiation to Production Release.
• Create and maintain technical test scripts weekly for customer hardware/software profiles.
• Configure labs and set up test cards, prompts, and velocity limits via eManager Portal.
• Lead weekly stakeholder communications and ensure secure network connectivity (SSL, VPN, Direct Connect).
• Resolve production authorization issues and drive AI/automation opportunities to reduce manual work.
