Job summary

WEX is seeking a technical QA specialist to manage the certification lifecycle for merchant and POS vendor portfolios. You will tailor test scripts for diverse hardware and software profiles and troubleshoot authorization or scripting issues daily.

You will configure test environments via the eManager Portal and collaborate with client engineering to ensure secure connectivity and smooth production releases. A strong SQL background and experience with payment networks are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in payment processing, IT systems support, network interface testing, or technical QA.
• Experience interpreting API/Network interface specifications.
• Strong SQL skills to extract data, verify transactions, and analyze logs.
• Proven ability to create, execute, and troubleshoot technical test scripts.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and guide the 90-to-180 day certification lifecycle for merchant and POS vendor portfolios.
• Create, tailor, and maintain test scripts weekly for customer hardware/software profiles.
• Configure test environments daily via the eManager Portal.
• Collaborate weekly with client engineering for secure connectivity (SSL, VPN, Direct Connect).
• Perform data validation and QA to ensure data integrity during testing.
• Lead weekly technical kickoff meetings with merchants and internal teams.
• Identify opportunities to adopt AI and automation to streamline testing workflows.
