Fifth Third Bank seeks an Associate Payments Strategist to grow and manage a portfolio of commercial clients. You will partner with Treasury Management Officers, Commercial Bankers, and Relationship Managers to deliver tailored treasury solutions and drive revenue growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Treasury Management, Commercial Banking or Payments.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Demonstrated ability to support sales and manage client relationships.
• Working knowledge of treasury management products and solutions.
• Strong communication, organization and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Treasury Management Officers, Commercial Bankers, Relationship Managers, and internal stakeholders to support client coverage, joint calling efforts, and relationship strategies.
• Serve as a day-to-day client contact for assigned relationships, building trusted relationships, maintaining engagement, and ensuring responsive follow-up.
• Participate in client and prospect meetings to understand business objectives, cash flow processes, operational challenges, and opportunities to deepen relationships.
• Identify, structure, and support treasury management solutions across payments, receivables, fraud prevention, liquidity, commercial card, and digital channels.
• Prepare treasury reviews, pricing analyses, proposals, presentations, RFP responses, and other materials that support client recommendations and sales activities.
• Conduct portfolio reviews and monitor client activity to uncover revenue growth, retention, expansion, optimization, and risk-related opportunities.
