VGS is hiring a Solutions Architect to align technical strategy with business goals in a remote-first setup. You will work with prospects and clients to design secure, scalable integrations across payment stacks, tokenization, and credential portability.

The role blends sales collaboration, architecture deliverables, and hands-on engineering in a fast-paced fintech environment. You’ll partner with product and engineering to shape roadmaps while leading technical strategy through deals and

Qualifications

• 5+ years across solutions architecture, engineering, or advisory roles.
• Experience with large-scale card or credential migrations.
• Multi-PSP, payment orchestration, or porting strategies.
• Background at merchant, PSP, processor, acquirer, issuer, or network.
• Strong knowledge of PCI DSS, data security, privacy, and compliance.
• Proficient with web services, APIs, and full-stack development.
• Excellent communication for technical and executive audiences.
• Ability to write production-grade examples in Python/JS/Java/Ruby.
• Collaborative, with solid prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical strategy from discovery to architecture approval.
• Create architecture diagrams, proposals, demos, and PoCs.
• Lead RFIs, RFPs, security reviews, and architecture assessments.
• Collaborate with customer engineers on APIs, webhooks, data models, and integrations.
• Produce detailed handoffs covering architecture, responsibilities, testing, and metrics.
• Provide technical oversight through launch to ensure alignment with architecture.
