Klarity Health in Seattle is seeking a dynamic Payment Center Leader to spearhead the operations of our payment center and optimize payout and collections across the revenue cycle.

This senior role requires a strategic, data-driven mindset, with experience leading RCM teams, managing vendors, and aligning with product, provider, and executive stakeholders to improve efficiency while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in revenue cycle operations, ideally in startup or virtual care.
• Experience building and operating a cash pay provider billing system.
• Billing and/or coding experience or certification preferred.
• Ability to work at startup pace and make data-driven decisions.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with Product, Provider, User Support, Compliance and Exec teams.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute a comprehensive strategy to improve revenue collections and provider payout across the revenue cycle.
• Establish a robust foundation for insurance billing, including appeals, information requests, and provider disputes.
• Design and implement strategies for efficient payment dispute management and identify additional revenue opportunities.
• Manage in-house RCM teams and outsourced revenue cycle vendors, optimizing billing and collections processes.
• Build out the organizational charts and policies to support the Payment Center operations.
• Draft policies and process documents to introduce rigor and standardization in Payment Center operations.
• Resolve billing and collection issues, acting as SME on coding and billing queries.
• Lead cross-functional operational changes affecting internal and external stakeholders.
• Set and monitor KPIs for billing and RCM, overseeing claims submissions and AR follow-up.
