Job summary

SimplePractice seeks a Principal Product Manager to own the payments vision, strategy, and execution across client charges, card-on-file, payouts, and embedded finance. You will balance reliability, security, and growth while advocating for practitioners and clients and partnering with Engineering, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance, and GTM.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product management with payments/fintech focus.
• Deep payments ecosystem knowledge and regulated environments.
• Experience running vendor RFPs and partner relationships.
• Proven track record scaling new product lines from discovery to commercialization.
• Customer-obsessed with data-driven roadmapping and prioritization.
• Strong risk, security, and trust discipline.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payments vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap.
• Manage PSPs and payments partners, including performance and renewals.
• Define pricing, monetization, and take-rate for payments offerings.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance, and GTM.
• Drive go-to-market strategy and adoption of payments capabilities.
• Mentor PM team and promote platform thinking and cross-functional execution.
