Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice in Dallas, TX is seeking a Billing Specialist to oversee payment posting and balance cash applications. You will lead the payment posting team, enforce SOPs, and act as the primary liaison for EFT enrollments and payor website enrollments in the billing system.

The role requires strong clerical skills, experience with 10-key and MS Office, and an ability to read remittance advice. In-office attendance is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience using computers for 10-key, typing, and clerical input.
• At least one year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Two years payment posting experience preferred.
• Experience reading remittance advices preferred.
• English fluency with strong oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor all payment posting by the cash application team.
• Write, define, and implement SOPs for payment posting.
• Ensure procedures are followed.
• Serve as primary point of contact for payment posting in the billing system.
• Troubleshoot payment posting issues.
• Initiate and complete EFT enrollments with all non-Medicare payors.
• Ensure EFTs for acquired companies are moved to the company bank account.
• Manage enrollment in payor websites for authorization, eligibility, EOB retrieval, and EFT.
• Manage all administrative duties for clearinghouse website, including adding payors/companies and enrollment requests.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.
