Job summary

National Partners in Healthcare (NPH) is seeking a Cash Applications Supervisor in Richardson, TX to oversee the daily Cash Applications team, ensure accurate posting of payments and adjustments, and drive staff development. The role requires collaboration with Billing, AR, and Finance to meet performance standards and process improvements.

The position focuses on maintaining quality, compliance with HIPAA and payer rules, and providing leadership for a high-performing team in a healthcare

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
• Two to three years of experience in Cash Applications, Payment Posting, or Revenue Cycle operations.
• At least two years of supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
• Healthcare revenue cycle experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily workflow of the Cash Applications team to ensure accuracy and productivity.
• Monitor work queues and distribute assignments to balance workloads and service levels.
• Review payment posting, contractual adjustments, refunds, and credit balance activities for accuracy.
• Provide staff coaching, training, and performance feedback; assist with evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with payer requirements, HIPAA, and departmental policies.
• Participate in process improvements and system enhancements with leadership.
