Job summary

BankUnited is seeking an Enterprise Solutions Architect (Payments Platform) to lead architecture and design across the payments ecosystem. You will map future-state capabilities, evaluate technologies, and guide large-scale modernization efforts to meet strategic outcomes.

You will work with cross-functional teams, ensure compliance, and drive secure, scalable solutions using modern architectural patterns and cloud-enabled platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise, technical or solution architecture.
• Experience with enterprise payment platforms or hubs and ISO20022 implementations.

Responsibilities

• Understand business drivers and design enterprise system solutions to meet outcomes.
• Lead architecture across multiple applications and technologies per strategy.
• Define principles and standards to align with future-state vision.
• Develop roadmaps for evolution of application portfolios from future to current state.
• Evaluate software product standards and service configurations.
• Document architecture designs and analysis work.
