Job summary

A technology solutions company in Miami is seeking an experienced Enterprise Solution Architect for their Payment Platform. The role requires extensive expertise in payment systems and solutions architecture. Candidates must have at least 15 years of experience in the banking industry and substantial exposure to various technologies, including REST APIs and AWS. The architect will be pivotal in designing solutions that meet both application and infrastructure needs, and will work onsite five days a week.

Overview

Title: Enterprise Solution Architect (Payment Platform) – Location: Miami, FL – Day 1 Onsite (5 Days a week)

The Enterprise Solutions Architect (Payments Platform) will leverage technology solutions to enable the organization's future-state business capabilities that, in turn, drive the organization's targeted outcomes. The architect will facilitate and orchestrate the delivery of solutions pertaining to payment systems. Solutions architecture will entail both application and infrastructure architecture, both of which fall under the purview of the Enterprise Solutions Architect.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and orchestrate delivery of solutions pertaining to payment systems.
• Provide oversight across both application and infrastructure architecture related to the payment platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
• 15+ years’ experience in Banking industry, Payment Solutions required.
• 5+ years’ experience in at least two IT solution development disciplines, including technical architecture, cloud architecture, application development, middleware or database management required.
• Experience in Payment platforms with a good understanding of products supporting real-time payments.
• Familiarity with Fiserv Portfolio or an equivalent preferred.
• Experience implementing and/or projects involving ACH, Wire, RTP, SWIFT (WIRE and RTP MANDATORY).
• Experience with ISO 20022.
• Experience implementing and/or integrating with Plaid, Venmo, and/or Zelle.
• Experience with SCRUM and preferably SAFe frameworks.
• Experience with architectures and patterns including REST APIs, SOAP, Pub-Sub messaging; data ingestion and integration; microservices & containers; cloud-native application architecture and design (preferably on Amazon AWS); relational and NoSQL databases; OLAP and OLTP workloads; single-page application architecture; integration with Commercial off-the-shelf applications preferred.
• Experience in defining and maintaining Living Target Enterprise Architectures using tools like BizzDesign, Lucid, or Archi.
• Experience with UML, BPMN, or ArchiMate modelling notations preferred.
• Experience in defining and executing Stress, Performance, Load tests and Systems Capacity planning preferred.
• Experience in designing and implementing HA architectures preferred.
• Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• CISSP, CISA, TOGAF, GAIC, CISM preferred.
