Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an Enterprise Architect to define an architectural vision aligned with enterprise strategy and platform choices. You will describe solution intent, evaluate system impacts, and guide end-to-end solution design across multiple programs.

Ideal candidates lead complex engineering efforts, coordinate with CIO teams, and ensure architectural runway supports new epics while maintaining security, performance, and reliability across environments.

Qualifications

• Extensive enterprise design experience required.
• Experience with large-scale projects and complex systems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder alignment across business and tech teams.
• Knowledge of security, performance, maintainability and reliability considerations.

Responsibilities

• Consult with the business and operations to identify challenges and align technology opportunities with the architectural vision.
• Plan and prioritize architecture runway to enable business epics/features.
• Perform design/code reviews to ensure non-functional requirements are met (security, performance, scalability).
• Lead rapid shaping of high-level architecture with evolving business requirements.
• Educate teams on technology practices, standards, and best practices.
