The role emphasizes defining enterprise architecture across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments, establishing standards, and guiding modernization efforts in a regulated banking

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise, solution, or application architecture experience.
• Experience designing across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Strong ability to communicate complex concepts to engineers and executives.
• Experience in banking, mortgage, or a regulated industry.
• Mentor and develop technical leaders to raise architectural standards.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise architecture across on‑prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Set technology standards, patterns, and governance for secure, scalable solutions.
• Partner with engineering, product, infra, and security to align with strategy and regs.
• Lead architecture reviews for major initiatives; advise on design and build-versus-buy.
• Drive modernization while balancing innovation with operational stability.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI, for measurable business value.
• Mentor engineers and leaders to ensure architectural consistency.
• Advise the CIO on long-term tech strategy and investment decisions.
