Job summary

PNC is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead the support, modernization, and reliability of our mission-critical payment platforms. You will oversee distributed teams across IT hubs, drive automation, and ensure security and regulatory compliance.

The role focuses on managing releases, monitoring, and on-call incident response while collaborating with business stakeholders and vendors. A bachelor’s degree and proven leadership in payments or fintech are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience in software engineering/leadership.
• 3+ years of management experience or leading distributed teams.
• Experience with enterprise payment applications and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and operations for critical payment platforms.
• Oversee releases, change management, and DR testing.
• Provide on-call leadership and incident response for production systems.
• Mentor teams and manage vendor relationships.
