Job summary

PNC is seeking a strategic Program Management Manager to lead the delivery of complex, cross-functional initiatives within the Commercial & Institutional Banking Payments organization. Qualifications

• Experience in financial services payments, treasury management, or commercial banking.
• Strong leadership of large-scale programs.
• Knowledge of payment products and services (Wire, ACH, RTP, FedNow).
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving technology, operations, product, and business stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, executive presentation, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic programs supporting the C&IB Payments organization.
• Partner with business, technology, operations, risk, compliance, and vendor teams to deliver initiatives that advance payment capabilities and operational efficiencies.
• Manage complex programs across the payments ecosystem, including Wire Transfers, ACH, Real-Time Payments (RTP), FedNow, Embedded Finance solutions, and Commercial Banking/Treasury Management platforms.
• Drive payment modernization initiatives, including platform transformation, process optimization, digital enablement, and vendor integrations.
• Develop and maintain program roadmaps, governance frameworks, executive communications, risk management plans, and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with product and operational teams to enhance merchant services, client onboarding experiences, fraud mitigation strategies, and payment operations workflows.
• Identify and manage program dependencies, risks, issues, and change impacts while ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
• Provide leadership and direction to project managers and program team members, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Present program updates, strategic recommendations, and decision points to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
• Ensure initiatives comply with applicable regulatory requirements, operational controls, and risk management standards.
