Fortera Federal Credit Union in Clarksville, TN is seeking a Payment Operations Specialist to support the Payment Operations Department. The role focuses on verifying deposits, processing ACH and bill pay, and providing exceptional member service with attention to accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent (additional coursework preferred).
• 3 years of credit union or financial institution experience preferred.
• Knowledge of check acceptance, Reg CC, Reg D.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Verify ATM and mobile check deposits and determine accept/reject actions.
• Process ACH, payroll, and related transactions; reconcile and post entries to GL.
• Handle Bill Pay processing and related disputes.
• Provide prompt member service and back up departmental tasks as needed.
• Maintain compliance with BSA/Reg E and other regulations.
