Job summary

Rainforest is seeking an experienced Technical Product Owner to partner with our Rails engineering team to define and prioritize payments products embedded into client SaaS platforms. You will own delivery of product initiatives, translate strategy into functional requirements, and help manage the backlog within an agile environment.

Qualifications

5+ years as a Product Owner or similar role.
Experience with payment processing and PayFac.
Ability to translate strategy into functional and technical requirements.

Responsibilities

Own delivery of product initiatives and releases by defining, documenting, and communicating goals, requirements, and constraints.
Translate product strategy into well-defined functional and technical requirements for the engineering team.
Work with Rails engineering team, attend agile meetings, and deliver production-ready features at scale.
Help manage and prioritize the product backlog.
Build strong collaborative relationships with product and engineering teams and stakeholders.
Coordinate with vendors to ensure integrations are accurate and maintained.
