Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one year of cashiering experience with extensive cash handling and balancing experience.
• One year of recent and relevant experience demonstrating attention to detail in detailed data, preferably in an automated systems environment.
• Basic mathematical aptitude and alpha/numeric filing skills.
• Computer literacy including Microsoft Windows suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Must operate general office equipment including copy machine, scanner and 10-key calculator.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills daily cashier functions.
• Receives and validates payments for multiple departments and uses several computer systems.
• Creates receipts and/or invoices for copies, plats and accounts receivable payments.
• Processes credit card transactions and balances cash drawer to register.
• Images checks into remote deposit system and prepares deposits for safekeeping.
• Disburses petty cash and reviews petty cash paperwork for accuracy.
• Provides cashiering services in the courtroom for hearings as needed.
• Maintains complete and accurate records using financial and scanning software and division procedures.
