Job summary

Beacon Hill in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced Business Analyst to support technology and business initiatives within Payments and Digital Banking. You will partner with project management, stakeholders, and technology teams to gather requirements, analyze processes, and support testing and implementation.

The ideal candidate has strong BA fundamentals, plus experience in Agile environments, data analysis, Excel, and banking/payments domains. Hybrid schedule with onsite presence in Charlotte.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of Business Analyst experience and related requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong data analysis skills and ability to translate findings into actionable insights.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and large data manipulation.
• Experience facilitating workshops, interviews, and business meetings.
• Ability to create detailed process flows and business process documentation.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements through stakeholder interviews and workshops.
• Analyze current processes and develop process maps, workflow diagrams, and supporting docs.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify solution options and evaluate feasibility.
• Facilitate communication across business, technology, and project teams throughout the lifecycle.
• Support Agile/Scrum activities, including user story creation and backlog refinement.
• Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities to inform decisions.
• Assist with project planning, testing, implementation, and delivery activities.
• Ensure business requirements align with technical solutions and project objectives.
