Job summary

Genuine Parts Company is seeking a data and payments analytics professional to support the payments team with financial analyses, KPI reporting, P&L development, and ad hoc analysis for leadership reviews.

The ideal candidate will mine and manipulate data using modern tools, communicate insights to executives, and learn internal legacy systems while supporting global payment initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
• 4+ years in strategy and planning within payment operations.
• Experience with data analysis (mining, manipulation, visualization).
• Exposure to large enterprise IT environments.
• Knowledge of NPV, ROI and general ledger concepts.
• Strong communication skills; ability to work with IT partners.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to build monitoring and analytic capabilities.
• Work with IT to resolve payment-related issues.
• Create concise presentations communicating current and future states of payments.
• Manage project plans for new payment initiatives and technologies.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration meetings for assigned initiatives.
• Coordinate with business units globally to align payments strategies.
