First Financial Federal Credit Union in New Jersey is seeking an in-office Operations Specialist to support daily electronic banking and operations, including Zelle, ACH processing, wires, RDC, and card settlements. You'll handle member inquiries, unauthorized transactions, and research issues to ensure timely resolution.

The role requires meticulous reconciliation, documentation, and adherence to NACHA rules, with training and comprehensive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Familiarity with credit union products and services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to research issues and reconcile discrepancies.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with members and employees.
• Proficiency with computer applications including Word/Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process daily ACH files with posting, NACHA compliance, and reconciliation.
• Manage ACH origination, recurring payments, batch updates, and reconciliations.
• Research ACH exceptions, reclamations, and unauthorized transactions with proper documentation.
• Perform share draft processing, daily reconciliation, and activity balancing.
• Handle electronic payments: RDC, Zelle, debit cards, wires, and bill pay inquiries.
• Oversee debit/ATM operations, daily reconciliations, and card maintenance.
• Process levies/subpoenas and research requests.
• Assist members and staff with account research and payment issues.
• Process returned debit/credit card mail and maintain records.
• Support Operations leadership with special projects and duties.
