Job summary

Seacoast Bank is seeking an ACH Payment Specialist to ensure secure processing of ACH transactions and daily operational support across dispute resolutions, DNEs, Reclamations, and stop payments. The role collaborates with related departments to optimize ACH operations and support Retail Branches.

Key duties include monitoring ACH files, preparing monthly and daily reports, and assisting with NACHA rule compliance and bank core conversions. A strong analytical mindset and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years Banking experience; or a combination of education and experience.
• Nacha certification preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Commitment to maintaining compliance and operational standards.
• PC proficient, including MS Word and MS Excel.
• Effective communication and collaboration capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update procedures for the department to align with current processes and growth.
• Provide support, assist with research, evaluation, testing and monitoring of ACH.
• Provide and assist with special projects, including bank core conversions.
• Prepare the monthly ACH Return Monitoring report.
• Prepare the daily ACH Macro Fed Balance Sheet.
• Monitor ACH file confirmations and open tickets for issues.
• Support the retail branches with questions, policies, procedures and NACHA rules relating to ACH.
• Support branches with disputes and Reg E claims and timeframes.
• Review risk associated with ACH Stop Payments and suspects; ensure timely processing.
• Review risk associated with DNEs and Reclamation notifications from US Treasury and/or Federal Reserve.
• Monitor and review compliance for Regulation E related to ACH consumer disputes.
• Complete all ACH training annually.
• Support Deposit Operations to ensure duties are completed accurately and timely.
• Provide ACH Dashboard monthly to Operations Support.
• Adhere to Seacoast Bank’s code of conduct.
