Job summary

Thales is seeking aTechnical Presales Engineer in Austin, TX, to join the Presales team and provide payment domain and technical expertise within the D1 Platform as part of our modern card issuance program.

The role translates business needs into technical specifications, identifies roadblocks across sales stages, and helps the Thales proposal stand out. You will handover to delivery and collaborate with product engineering.

Qualifications

Strong technical background in Payments and Card Issuance and Personalization Services.
Understanding of PCI-DSS, ISO27001, SOC2, GDPR, DORA.
Experience in customer-facing roles delivering product demonstrations.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with sales to design technical solutions meeting customer needs.
Deliver product demonstrations and propose architecture for Thales Modern Card Issuance.
Assess customer requirements to streamline offers and minimize customization.
Stay updated on industry trends in Digital Payment space and support sales meetings.
Write technical elements of customer offers and coordinate inputs for P&L.
Create content for marketing (demo videos, case studies, collateral) and relay feedback to product engineering.
