Job summary

Thales Group in Austin, TX is seeking a Technical Presales Engineer to translate business needs into technical specs for the Modern Card Issuance program. You will work with sales, deliver product demos, and guide customers through APIs, flows, and configurations.

The role requires strong payments domain knowledge, experience in customer-facing demos, and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Hybrid work option available in the Austin area.

Qualifications

Strong technical background in Payments and Card Issuance and Personalization Services.
Understanding of PCI-DSS, ISO27001, SOC2, GDPR, DORA.
Experience in customer-facing roles, conducting product demonstrations and presentations to customers.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with sales team to identify customer needs and design the best technical solutions using Thales platforms.
Present to customers during pre-sales on use of physical card services, onboarding, configuration and solution design.
Develop and deliver Thales Modern Card Issuance product demonstrations and presentations to customers, in-person and remotely.
Write the Technical elements of customer offers and coordinate inputs for P&L reviews.
