Job summary

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma with some post-secondary education preferred.
  • 1+ years of relevant experience in payments or financial services.
  • Basic understanding of payment processing, deposits, funds transfers.
  • Ability to process transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication for service delivery.
  • Ability to follow procedures and demonstrate sound judgment.
  • Proficiency with business systems, payment platforms, and standard office software.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a team environment.
  • N/A certification/license.

Responsibilities

  • Processes and supports a variety of payment transactions, including deposits, transfers, remittances, account-to-account payments, peer-to-peer payments, business payments, and other money movement activities.
  • Reviews payment requests and supporting information to ensure transactions are completed accurately, timely, and in accordance with established operational procedures and service standards.
  • Assists with clearing, settlement, reconciliation, reporting, and other activities that support the successful movement of funds.
  • Responds to internal and external inquiries related to payment services, transaction status, account activity, and service requests, providing timely and professional support.
  • Researches and resolves routine transaction discrepancies, exceptions, and service issues, escalating more complex matters when appropriate.
  • Maintains accurate records, documentation, and system updates to support operational effectiveness, audit readiness, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitors daily processing activities to identify errors, unusual activity, or service concerns and takes appropriate action within established guidelines.
  • Collaborates with business partners and support teams to ensure payment services are delivered efficiently and meet member and organizational expectations.
  • Participates in process improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to enhance service quality, operational efficiency, or the overall payment experience.
  • Remains current on payment products, operational procedures, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies that impact payment services.

The Payment Services Support II role supports the delivery of payment and money movement services that help meet the financial and cash-flow needs of members. This role performs a variety of operational, service, and transaction-related activities while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to established procedures. The position contributes to the efficient execution of payment services and helps maintain a high-quality member experience.

Essential Skills:
  • Required Education:High school diploma and/or specialized certification
  • Required Experience:1+ years of relevant experience
  • Basic understanding of payment processing, deposits, funds transfers, and related operational activities.
  • Ability to accurately process transactions while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to research issues and identify appropriate resolutions.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with a commitment to providing excellent service.
  • Ability to follow established procedures while exercising sound judgment when handling non-routine situations.
  • Proficiency with business systems, payment platforms, and standard office software.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Minimum Education: High School Diploma with some post‑secondary education preferred

Location: Hillsboro, OR 97124

Target Compensation: $20.50 - $27.16 + annual bonus

Schedule: Monday - Friday | Full-Time (Hybrid)
