Job summary

Pliant seeks a Payment Program Manager to own card program implementations across Europe and the US. You will coordinate from scoping to go-live, work with schemes, partners, processors and vendors, and maintain compliance post-launch.

The role involves hands-on program management, multi-stakeholder coordination, and driving wallet tokenisation efforts. Remote flexibility is offered with strong ownership expectations.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of payments experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on card program implementation.
• Hands-on experience launching programs with Visa and Mastercard.
• Experience launching digital wallets and tokenisation (Apple Pay preferred).
• Solid understanding of card lifecycle: authorisation, clearing, settlement, 3DS and tokenisation.
• Track record delivering multiple multi-stakeholder projects with clear ownership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the launch of new card programs across markets and currencies from scoping to production release.
• Manage scheme and partner onboarding (Visa/Mastercard) including BIN setup and submissions.
• Coordinate end-to-end testing with partners and sign off programs before go-live.
• Drive wallet launches (Apple Pay/Google Pay) and extend wallets to new products and markets.
• Ensure program health with compliance, reporting, and risk controls in partnership with Compliance and Fraud teams.
• Serve as main program contact, translating needs into clear product/engineering requirements.
• Proactively document risks and continuously improve launch/run processes using automation.
