Job summary

HCA Healthcare in Utah is seeking a Payment Poster to join our business office and manage posting, reconciliation, deposits, adjustments, refunds and balancing of daily cash and payments. A 90-day on-site training period is required in the Great Salt Lake City area.

You will post payments and adjustments daily, contact payers for payment/refund requests, enter refunds in AdvantaX, prepare registries and support weekly deposit allocations to maintain accurate credit balances.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of payment posting experience.
• Analytical skills to research and solve reimbursement discrepancies based on our contracts.

Responsibilities

• Post all payments and adjustments daily.
• Contact payer and initiate requests for payment and refunds for overpayment.
• Enter refunds in the AdvantaX system in a timely manner.
• Prepare check registry for all refunds keyed in AdvantaX and submit to AP.
• Perform weekly allocations of deposits to ensure accurate reporting of credit balances.
• Maintain a credit balance of 1.0 days.
