Job summary

IHMVCU is seeking a detail-oriented Payment Operations Specialist to support daily operations of payment services, including ACH, debit/credit cards, and digital payments. The role emphasizes accurate processing, issue resolution, and timely follow-ups to ensure service quality for members and team members.

The position is based at our River Drive headquarters in Moline, IL, with a collaborative environment, on-site gym, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• At least two years in a financial institution; ACH or card ops preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and banking software.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to prioritize tasks.
• Independent with team collaboration and strong communication.
• Discretion and problem-solving skills for payment discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Process, monitor, balance, and resolve ACH transactions within deadlines.
• Handle ACH disputes, returns, stop payments, and research requests.
• Maintain debit and credit card services and update accounts.
• Review Remote Deposit Capture transactions and manage fraud risk.
• Establish and maintain ACH, wire, Treasury, and Business Online Banking for business members.
• Research and resolve payment questions from members and team.
• Process mail payments and support daily operations for credit lines.
• Maintain procedures and suggest efficiency/improvement ideas.
