Job summary

TBK Bank, a subsidiary of Triumph, is seeking a Payments Operations Specialist to join our team in Dallas. You will execute daily payment operations across ACH, wires, cards, RTP, and checks, validate instructions, and support month-end close with GL balancing.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in banking or deposit operations, strong Excel skills, and a solid understanding of GL processes and reconciliations. We offer benefits and a collaborative, compliant work environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in banking, financial, or deposit operations
• Strong understanding of GL processes and reconciliations
• Proficiency with Excel and general ledger activities

Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor daily payment operations across multiple channels (ACH, wires, cards, RTP, checks)
• Validate and process payment instructions per internal policies and regulatory requirements
• Investigate and resolve payment exceptions and returns
• Support back-office payment operations on settlement and posting
• Perform daily GL balancing and ensure alignment between sub-ledgers and bank accounts
• Ensure end-of-day and intraday balancing across systems
• Prepare operational and financial reports
• Maintain audit-ready documentation
• Support audits and maintain internal controls
• Collaborate with Finance, Treasury, and Risk teams
