Job summary

First American is seeking a Cash Management Specialist to handle payment processing and timely resolution of exception items. This role requires accuracy, adherence to guidelines, and documentation of work items as part of a professional team in the mortgage services space.

Responsibilities include processing transactions, identifying issues, and assisting with audits. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of experience preferred.
• Financial Services industry experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions accurately and timely in accordance with departmental and investor guidelines.
• Ensure exception items are identified and resolved promptly.
• Document the system with comments regarding disposition of work items.
• Identify, research, and resolve issues.
• Make recommendations for improving controls and processes within the department.
• Assist with internal or external audit requests.
• Communicate trends or problems to management with recommended solutions.
• Assist with creation and maintenance of department documentation; including policies and procedures.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned.
