Job summary

Ria Money Transfer is seeking a Full-Time Payment Acceptance Manager to optimize how customers pay for transfers online and in stores. Based at Buena Park HQ, you’ll drive authorization rate, cost, and reliability improvements across acquirers, gateways and alternative methods.

You’ll partner with Product, Engineering, Finance, Treasury, Legal, Compliance, Fraud and Retail Ops to own end-to-end outcomes from method selection to settlement, while using AI tools to speed analysis and automation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in payment acceptance, operations or payments product.
• Strong knowledge of card acceptance, 3DS and fees.
• Hands-on with POS terminals and in-store PCI requirements.
• Experience with PSPs and acquirers (Adyen, Worldpay, Fiserv, Checkout.com, CyberSource, Elavon).
• US payment rails knowledge including RTP/Fed Now.
• Regular use of generative AI tools for analysis and documentation.
• Strong SQL, Excel and product analytics or BI skills.

Responsibilities

• Digital payment acceptance across apps, web, and in-store channels.
• Lead root-cause analysis on declines and failures and drive fixes with Product/Engineering.
• Manage multi-acquirer routing, cost tracking and KPI reporting.
• Build business cases and launch plans for new fund-in methods and local methods.
• Overlap with Retail Ops on terminal deployment and training.
• Define and track KPIs such as approval rate, uptime, and cost per transaction.
• Draft BRDs, runbooks and executive updates; collaborate across time zones.
