Job summary

Blue Origin on Florida's Space Coast seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Manager for Payload Accommodations. You will lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers, develop work plans, and mentor engineers toward career growth while driving DFMA improvements.

Collaborating with program managers, operations leaders, and IPT Leads, you will ensure design, build, and test objectives are met. Requires 7+ years in manufacturing/Manufacturing Engineering and a BS in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Aerospace

Qualifications

• Experience managing people, projects, or programs.
• Experience working with the fabrication and integration of composites parts.
• Experience in hardware manufacturing and relevant testing methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers and develop goals/career paths.
• Coordinate with program managers and operations leaders to meet design, build, and test objectives.
• Promote DFMA and PFMEA studies to strengthen feedback between design, build, and test.
• Engage in BOM creation and product structure definition.
