The role partners with health plans and internal revenue cycle teams to interpret contracts and policies, resolve complex billing issues, and support patient access and financial outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration required.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including complex formulas, pivot tables, and analytics.
• Epic EMR experience preferred.

Position OverviewThe Payer Relations Generalist plays a vital role in strengthening payer relationships and protecting revenue integrity across the healthcare system. This role partners closely with health plans and internal revenue cycle teams to remove reimbursement barriers, interpret payer contracts and policies, and resolve complex billing issues. Through collaboration, insight, and attention to detail, the Payer Relations Generalist ensures accurate, timely information flows that support patient experience access and financial outcomes.
